For my isometric building project, I decided to make a traditional Filipino structure called bahay kubo. It's essentially an elevated house made out of bamboo. I started by putting an isometric grid to grid where I'd put my building. After that I made some background shapes like the water and the coconut trees. I texturized the whole thing to make it less flat. I liked how it turned out.
